At Back From the Dead Guitars, we strive to ensure every customer is satisfied with their purchase. Below are our policies regarding cancellations, returns, and shipping issues.

Order Cancellations

• You are entitled to cancel your order before a shipping label is created, without providing a reason.

• If a shipping label has been created, a restocking fee equal to the cost of shipping will be deducted from the refund.

• Refunds will be processed via PayPal, adhering to their refund policy.

Damaged in Shipping

If your guitar is damaged during transit, we’ve got you covered. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth claims process:

1. Inspect the Package: Check for any visible damage upon delivery.

2. Document the Damage: Take clear photos of:

   • The damaged guitar.

   • The shipping box, including the shipping label.

   • Any protective packaging materials (e.g., bubble wrap or foam).

3. Retain Packaging: Keep the damaged guitar and all original packaging materials until the claim is resolved.

4. Notify Us Promptly: Contact us immediately at KZ@backfromthedeadguitars.com or via text (details provided upon request).

• We will file a claim with the shipping carrier and keep you informed throughout the process. Refunds, repairs, or replacements will be issued once the claim is approved, typically within 7–14 business days.

Note: If the signature requirement is waived by the buyer or their agent, and the package is reported stolen, we cannot accept responsibility for the loss. Retaining the signature requirement is essential for all insurance claims.

Conditions for Returns

We understand the importance of finding the perfect guitar, and we want you to feel confident in your purchase. If the guitar doesn’t meet your expectations, you have the option to return it after a short trial period. Please review our updated return policy below:

Return Policy for Trial Period

1. Eligibility for Returns:

   • Buyers have 3 days from the date of delivery acknowledgment to initiate a return.

   • The guitar and any included accessories must be returned in the original shipping box with all included packing materials.

   • The guitar must show no signs of wear beyond testing (e.g., scratches, dents, or excessive handling marks).

2. How to Request a Return:

   • Contact us at KZ@backfromthedeadguitars.com within the 3-day trial period to request a return.

   • Once approved, we will issue a prepaid return shipping label to your provided email address.

3. Return Shipping Process:

   • Print the provided shipping label and securely repackage the guitar and accessories.

   • Ensure all original packing materials are used to protect the guitar during transit.

   • Drop off the package at the specified shipping carrier location or arrange a pickup as per the label instructions.

4. Conditions for Refunds:

   • The guitar and accessories must be received in the same condition they were shipped, with no damage or signs of wear beyond testing.

   • Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days of receiving the returned item and verifying its condition.

   • Return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund unless the return is due to damage or defects caused during shipping.

Note:

• Failure to return the guitar and accessories in their original condition or packaging may result in additional fees or a denied refund.

• We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not comply with this policy.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for returns:

1. Guitars that were customized or personalized at the buyer's request (e.g., specific finishes, designs, or modifications).

2. Guitars where the buyer or their agent waived the signature requirement, and the package is claimed as stolen.
